Have Faith in God’s Faithfulness!

Romans 4:21 KJV

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

God can be trusted! God always has and always will do just as he’s promised! While it’s our responsibility to place our faith in Him, He is always faithful.

This coming Sunday marks 12 years since the start of Resurrection Life Church. I remember just like it was yesterday when the Lord spoke to my heart about moving back to Marion and starting this work. I remember the Lord speaking to me and saying, “Never worry about a thing. I will provide the labor of love, people, finances, and everything you need in order to succeed in accomplishing my plan.” He has done that and more!

As soon as we leased a building and started our bible study back in 2010 the Lord began to move. We were contacted within a month’s time by Pastor Leyland and Mrs. Susie Harvey. They were currently pastoring a church here in Marion. They met with us and told us that God had spoken to them and told them to give us the church and land to start our ministry! God delivered just as he promised! Thank God for people who cooperate with and listen to God! The church has continually grown, and we are so grateful for all God is doing! We are about to wrap up our recent addition at this time. We have added a new fellowship hall and increased our sanctuary size. We are ready to grow!

While it is not always easy, I have learned that if you will only step out and obey God he will always do as he’s promised. Abraham in our text above was fully persuaded that what God had promised he was able to perform. I am also fully persuaded today that what God has promised he is also able to perform!

I am so very thankful to God for all he’s done, but also for every single person that he’s blessed us with at RLC! You truly are part of a great army that God is raising up to further build his kingdom in the earth in these last days!
