Daniel 3:17 KJV
If it be so, our GOD WHOM WE SERVE IS ABLE TO DELIVER US from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
There is no obstacle or opposition that you are facing today that is greater than God’s ability to see you through. I have had more people than I can count tell me, “But you don’t know what I’m going through.” That may very well be a true statement. I may personally have no idea of the magnitude of the mountains you are facing in your life. What I do know is that we serve a mountain moving God!
Just because you don’t currently see a way out doesn’t mean there is no way out! When you get to this place in life, it’s time to trust the way maker! I may not have been in your exact situation, but I have been in seemingly hopeless situations many times. Each time I put my faith in God and his word, he made a way where there seemed to be no way!
In our passage above we see the three Hebrew children, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are literally in the fire. In short, Nebuchadnezzar, the king, had made a golden image. Then he dedicated this image and commanded all the people to fall down and worship it when the music began to play. Whoever didn’t worship the image would be thrown into the fiery furnace. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had their minds made up to serve the Lord. They refused to bow! While this got them thrown into the fiery furnace, things didn’t turn out how everyone expected! As we see in our passage today, God is able to deliver his people! When they looked in the fiery furnace, they should’ve seen three crispy critters! Instead, they not only saw the three that were thrown in, but they saw a fourth man, and no one was harmed in the least! God was with them!
I say all that to say this today, “If your faith is in God, he is with you today!” Don’t be moved in the least by the mountain or fiery furnace in your life today! While it may look like defeat and destruction are inevitable, God has a plan! As you trust him, you will see that just like with the three Hebrew children, things will not turn out as everyone else expected! God will deliver you just as he’s delivered every other child of God that has placed their faith in him!
Remember, while the devil may have power in this earth, the power of satan is no match for the power of God (Luke 10:17-20)! Trust God and walk right on into your victory! Victory belongs to you right now in Jesus’ Name (1 Corinthians 15:57)!
